About
Betsy Tyler is a licensed therapist with over 10 years experience working with people from all ages and backgrounds. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Oregon, and her Masters in Social Work from Binghamton University. Betsy has also studied holistic nutrition and is a yoga practitioner.
Betsy has practiced in a variety of setting including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, youth group homes, as well as a number of years visiting clients in their homes, Betsy works with couples, families and individuals young and old utilizing a holistic, strengths-based, solution focused approach to promote individuals well being and resilience.
By addressing mental health from a holistic and comprehensive perspective we acknowledge that mental health is not solely confined to the mind but also influenced by various factors including nutrition, exercise, relationships, family, occupation and self-care practices. Acknowledging that our thoughts, emotions, and beliefs have a profound impact on our physical well being, and vice versa. By addressing the whole person, mind body and spirit, Betsy aims to help foster balance, harmony and optimal functioning in all areas of her clients lives.
